About us

Welcome to the online home of GGP Consult. Established in 1994, we are a privately owned engineering consultancy. Our team has decades of diverse engineering expertise from civil and structural, to marine and seismic, and we offer full project management services to our clients. We have worked in a range of industries including power, transportation, oil, gas, petrochemical, and industrial, and we continue to embrace new sectors at every opportunity.

Who we are

We are based on the outskirts of Kingston Upon Hull, East Yorkshire, United Kingdom. Our offices overlook the famous Humber bridge whose impressive structure spans 2.2Km.

GGP has grown steadily since its formation in 1994 and now provides considerable resources with a wide range of expertise, including; Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Marine Engineering, Seismic Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Architecture and Project Management. Our continued success is based largely on our professional attitude and ability to provide a cost effective, innovative and flexible service, using the latest technology to solve problems and deliver economic projects.

GGP is now exporting its expertise to around fifty countries in the sectors of; Power, Transportation, Oil , Gas, Petrochemical and Industrial with further growth expected. We take great pride in our success and enjoy our work.

Environmentally Conscious

As part of our continual efforts towards the protection of our environment, GGP Consult have implemented a Carbon Reduction Plan and is fully committed to being Net Zero by 2050, in line with Government guidelines. We are committed to being 100% transparent to our clients and will publish our latest figures annually.

We prioritise safety

We have always understood the importance of high quality service to our clients, whilst ensuring the highest standard of Health & Safety within our designs and considering our environmental impact every step of the way. Due to this, our combined Health & Safety, Quality and Environmental System is certified to ISO 9001: 2015, 14001: 2015 and 45001:2018 retrospectively.

All three standards are certified by Intertek Ltd, a UKAS accredited company, which instils our clients with confidence knowing that the services we provide are of the highest standards within the UK as well as internationally.

As a company working within the Construction industry, Health & Safety is of paramount importance to us. We fully comply with all the Health & Safety legislations and are aware of our duties under the Construction, Design and Management (CDM) Regulations both as Designers and Planning Supervisors.

GGP Consult are proud to be accredited to RISQS. This safety accreditation is an addition to ISO 45001, and is recognised by the rail industry as the most effective way of driving assurance and managing risk, within the rail sector. We have a separate integrated rail management system which accompanies and works alongside our HSQE system.

Continual monitoring of these systems, accompanied by internal and external audits regularly ensure these high standards are continuously maintained. Along with our dedicated in-house team, we have an external consultant who assists us with our compliance to these relevant standards and keeps us abreast of developments in the field of HSQE assurance, and the rail industry.
