  • Annual Leave

    Staff receive 20 days annual leave per annum plus bank holidays rising by one per year up to 26 days per annum. Staff will be required to take three days annual leave between Christmas and New Year.

    GGP Consult understand the importance of their employee’s well-being and are committed to provide any advice and help when needed.     We have an incentive scheme where employees attending a gym (at least once a week) will be reimbursed £5 per week.

    GGP Consult is also a part of the auto-enrolment pension scheme, where employees contribute 5% and we contribute 3% (for eligible staff).

  • Death in Service

    GGP operates a Death in Service Insurance Policy whereupon should any permanent employee pass away whilst in employment with the company, a sum equal to four times their annual salary will be paid to the person(s) nominated by the employee.


GGP Consult are committed to promoting professional development through the employment of apprentices. Moving forward, we will continue to recruit talented individuals into our company and encourage them to grow into confident, valued members of our team, including those with disabilities and/or those with special educational needs, ensuring that trained Senior members are available at all times to support an individual’s needs.

We work directly with Colleges and Universities (along with local talent agencies) to procure apprenticeships. With each provider, we discuss and agree their contributions to the apprenticeship, such as time, resources and funding for training, on a case-by-case basis, ensuring that these apprenticeships meet the skill needs of the region or national industry. Along with the Colleges and Universities, we continuously monitor the quality of this.

We will work in collaboration with these providers to identify and employ suitable apprentices required for current on-going work.

Resources will be in place to support successful candidates whilst they undertake any work and develop increasingly complex skills that lead towards the advanced – and higher – level skills needed by not only ourselves, but future employees.

GGP Consult are fully committed to providing sufficient on and off the job training for apprentices to develop and practise substantive new skills that prepare them for long-term employment in their industry.

We will ensure that candidates have access to the teaching expertise and resources to help develop their knowledge and skills in English and Mathematics that is needed for their jobs and careers.

GGP are committed to encourage our staff to be part of professional membership bodies such as ICE, IStructE, RIBA, CIAT etc. We have numerous mentors within the company who help and support staff throughout their learning to achieve their goals, from student members to charterships. GGP are happy to reimburse costs for these professional qualifications for all employees.

We are eager for all staff to keep up to date with the industry changes by providing numerous CPD seminars throughout the year to increase their knowledge, together with regular updates from BSI, Network Rail and External HSQE Consultants, we keep up to date with current standards and legislations.
