Filey Station Refurbishment was "Commended" at The ICE Yorkshire and Humber Awards 2026.
The judges recognised the refurbishment's high quality and the measures implemented to mitigate the impact on passengers and the general public during the works.
This follows a "Highly Commended" Award at the National Railway Heritage Awards in 2025.
We were employed by Colt Construction Limited on behalf of Network Rail to complete a full refurbishment design including all necessary surveys of this Grade 2 listed GT Andrews designed Victorian station.
Our expert heritage refurbishment engineers and technicians worked closely with Colt and Network Rail to ensure a high-quality, sympathetic refurbishment throughout the station.
A complete new roof access system was designed and installed along with Twinfix Canopies & Roof Glazing roof glazing.
