Project Overview

The UK's largest port in terms of tonnage is Immingham.

Annually it handles up to 55 million tonnes of cargo which includes 10 million tons of coal and 20 million tonnes of oil per year.

Immingham has extensive roro and lolo freight facilities servicing Scandinavia, the Baltic coasts and Northern Europe.

GGP have provided Civil, Structural and Marine Engineering support to APT on a number of modification and maintenance projects including proposed fendering schemes, jetty extensions, dolbhin and loading arm layout and calculation of existing capacity to serve ConocoPhillips' Humber Oil Refinery and Total's Lindsey Oil Refinery.

GGP have surveyed this facility and worked with Mechanical and Process Engineers to provide complete design packages.
